Kylie Tolman

Kylie is a triple negative, stage 3 breast cancer thriver who was diagnosed when she was 30.

She used to think that once her cancer treatment was finished, that would be the end of her journey to some extent and that life would go back to how it was……

She tried as hard as she could to slot back into life, work, family etc though still felt lost, angry, scared and anxious.

Part of her had changed forever and she did not know how to deal with it.

Now Kylie has realised that these feelings are SO normal but yet they are not talked about enough. Support networks are incredibly important through this time.

She also truly feels that a support group needs to be a stand alone group away from those still going through treatment to some extent so that we are not constantly being retriggered so we can work on our new normal in a healthy more positive way.

Hence why she saw the real need for a charity such as this and that was then how C.A.R.E.S was birthed in order to create such a purposeful and meaningful space for you all.

However she would not have been able to do it without her incredible team below. We hope that this page and our services help you in so many ways moving forward, one step at a time.

Sara Wilson

Sara is a coach and hypnotherapist with a passion for the mind/body connection. Sara's vision is for every person to be empowered to lead healthy, joyful lives free of unnecessary stress and anxiety. Her own journey with cancer started with her son, Jake, was diagnosed with leukemia at 6 years old. He went through 3 1/2 years of treatment to treat his body but there was very little in the way of mental health support. It was because of this that Sara started to run relaxation sessions at the Child Cancer Foundation and why she chose to become involved in C.A.R.E.S.
